Our Activities are based on Resident interests. Shortly after Admission to our home, a questionnaire will be completed to solicit the new resident's recreational interests.
An interest survey is also conducted at various times throughout the year. Residents are also encouraged to attend Resident Council meetings to express their satisfaction or concerns with activities or any other program or service the facility offers.
Below is a sample of the different types of activities available here at Columbus Park. Activities are offered seven days a week. This sample calendar does not include Special Events like Holiday Celebrations; New Year's, Valentine's Day, St. Patrick's Day, Mother's Day, Father's Day, etc. There is usually a Special Event once a month.
There are also individual recreational activity items available. These range from books & magazines to sewing materials, music tapes, cards, puzzles, and more.
